Summer Vacation
Planning to come to Camping Wedderbergen this summer? Great fun :)! We are a lively and friendly family campsite with guests coming from all over the Netherlands but also from Belgium, Germany and Scandinavia.
Please read the information below carefully before booking; as a camping company, we want to align guests' expectations with our offerings.

- Summer vacation NL:
Saturday July 5 to Sunday August 31 - Summer vacation North:
Saturday July 12 to Sunday August 24
Animation summer vacations
During the period from Saturday, July 12 to Thursday, August 21, we offer activities 7 days a week in the form of children's entertainment (4 - 10 years old) and teenage entertainment (10 - 14 years old). In addition, we also organize catering activities such as bingo, live music, pub quizzes and theme nights.
Info camping / chalets
- Arrival days camping: every day
- Arrival days private sanitary facilities: Wednesday or Saturday
- Besides 2 general sanitary buildings also 24 private sanitary units
- Arrival days chalets: Monday or Friday
- Early check in and/or late check out not possible due to crowds
Good to know
- Quiet time on the campsite: 11 p.m. - 7 a.m.
- Electric scooters are prohibited
- Charging poles for electric cars present
- N368 audible from fields Ganzeplakke, Eendenkorf, Osprey and Kingfisher
- Restaurant: self-service and pin only
- No standard supervision present in facilities

Unique and under construction
Camping Wedderbergen is a down-to-earth and capable family business; almost everything you see was built with our own hands and we are proud of that! We are the only large 5-star campsite in Groningen and have achieved this status under the name "Wedderbergopwaarts" under our own steam.
The bar in Dutch recreation is high and we are aware that the ANWB 5-star rating brings with it many expectations. Camping Wedderbergen recently earned this classification based on independent campsite inspections. In the coming years we will continue to invest enthusiastically in facilities, service and quality.
An apt proverb: "Rome was not built in a day." Meaning: you can't do everything at once or at the same time; big projects take their time.
Mixed company
Camping Wedderbergen is a mixed recreation business consisting of 450 camping sites, 51 rental units and 60 permanent sites. The camping fields are separated from the permanent sites and rental accommodations, with the center facilities located in the middle.
