House Rules

Summarized below are the main points of our regulations:

Trailers
These are only allowed on the grounds for loading and unloading. Trailers cannot be parked in the parking lots in and/or around the campground.

Liability
Camping Wedderbergen shall never be liable for the consequences of personal injury or material damage caused by accidents, nor for theft, fire, natural disasters or other loss and/or damage to goods and/or property occurring during the stay at the campsite.

The holiday maker is at all times fully liable for all actions he/she takes on the site. So also the damage which, intended or unintended, is caused to property of the terrain or of other guests.

Cars
Per pitch/chalet, 1 car is allowed on the site. Every guest is obliged to park his car on his own pitch. It is requested not to drive back and forth unnecessarily to ensure the quality of the fields and overall traffic safety.

A second car can only be temporarily parked in a temporary location in consultation with / at the direction of the reception desk. It is strictly forbidden to park a car in the siding and/or approach lane!

Visitors
What is meant by a visitor: this is someone who visits the campsite, does not stay overnight and is not registered at the campsite. We charge a fee for entering our grounds and using our facilities: see day tickets.

Please note! Visitors are not allowed to bring pets.

Chemical toilet
Empty the caravan toilet only in the chemical toilet at the back of the toilet building on the camping fields.

Drugs
Drugs of any kind are strictly prohibited in the campground. Use, possession or trafficking of drugs results in immediate and unpardonable departure from the premises.

Electricity/electricity cables
Every pitch is equipped with a 10 or 16 amp electrical connection. Electricity cables must not be located on the grass due to mowing. It is mandatory to have a suitable earth leakage circuit breaker in the caravan. This is a requirement of network operator ENEXIS and a fire insurance regulation.

In case of frequent power outages caused by our own actions, we may decide not to put the power back on until the problem is fixed by the guest.

Electricheaters
Electric heaters are not permitted, these high wattage devices cause overloading of our network.

Electric scooters
Transportation devices such as electric scooters, oxboards and fatbikes with the motor or electric motor switched on are prohibited on our property for reasons of traffic safety. Exception to this rule is a special moped; a scooter with a license plate where a minimum driver age of 16 years applies and the driver must be WAM insured.

Bicycles
Please place all bicycles, which are outside the camping site or chalet, in the bicycle racks provided. Bicycle racks are available at all public buildings on the campsite grounds.

The area around the center facilities is a pedestrian zone; bicycles are not allowed here.

Photographer/Privacy
Our in-house photographer regularly takes photos during activities, as well as general mood shots throughout the grounds during the season. A selection of these photos is used for social media and/or promotional purposes.

Prefer not to be photographed? Please indicate this to the photographer and/or choose to temporarily leave the location/activity.

Turf/ terrain
For camping guests, it is mandatory to use a breathable material under any awning and/or canopy. It is not permitted to dig trenches or pits in the turf. No changes may be made to the terrain, plants and buildings!

Pets
Per pitch max 1 pet is allowed for a fixed fee. Category 1 and 2 dogs are not welcome in the park, other pets are allowed only in the designated camping fields. All chalets and Naturally Wedderbergen are pet-free.

Please note! Our center facilities incl. playgrounds and sports fields are pet-free. However, dogs are allowed on the restaurant terrace.

Household garbage and glass
Household garbage is deposited in the designated compactor in front of the reception for a fee of 1.50 per bag. The container processes 1 bag at a time, multiple bags can lead to interference! It is strictly forbidden to place garbage bags next to the container.

Please put glass in the glass container provided.

Guest
What is meant by a guest? Someone who, with the consent of the guest and the management of Camping Wedderbergen, spends one or more nights on a camping pitch/chalet. We ask a fee for spending the night on our grounds and for the use of our facilities.

Staff
Our staff is expected to carry out work on the grounds to the best of their ability. When he/she observes that holidaymakers do not comply with the rules of conduct, resulting in an obstruction in the work, they can make this known to the holidaymaker.

Instructions given by staff must always be followed. We expect guests to address and treat our staff, students and interns with respect.

Wristbands
During school vacations, busy periods and high season, all guests are required to wear wristbands. Wristbands are put on at the reception desk on site; wristbands are not given out.

Restaurant
Camping Wedderbergen has a new self-service restaurant; ordering is done via order kiosks and payment can only be made by debit card.

Sewerage
Every pitch is equipped with a sewer connection. You can collect your wastewater or discharge it directly into the sewer. Discharging wastewater on the grounds is strictly prohibited. Urgent request: do not flush baby wipes and/or damp toilet paper! This causes enormous blockages, possibly resulting in a sewer infarct!

barrier
Our grounds are closed with a barrier system by means of license plate registration. The barrier is closed from 10 pm to 6 am. It is therefore forbidden to drive around the grounds by car during this period.

Camping Wedderbergen is not liable for damage caused by improper use or caused by malfunctions of any kind.

Playpond (prohibited for dogs)
Playing and splashing in the swimming pond at the campsite is entirely at your own risk and responsibility. You must ensure that young children and children without swimming certificates play/swim under supervision and are provided with swimming straps or a life jacket.

Silence time
There is a silence time in the campground from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m.. Voices, musical instruments and all devices that cause noise must not be audible outside your own pitch/chalet, except for activities organized by or with the permission of the campsite.

Have fun but be considerate of each other!

Technical support outside reception hours
Our staff is available in low season from 09:00 - 18:00 and in high season from 09:00 - 20:00. Outside of these times, we are available by phone on the general campsite number only in case of emergency and/or calamities.

Supervision
Camping Wedderbergen is not required to appoint supervisors in facilities such as the swimming pool, water playground and indoor arcade, among others. Parents are responsible for their children at all times.

Toilet Building
We make every effort to keep the sanitary facilities clean. Please do not let small children go alone to the toilet building, because of "accidents" this causes a lot of inconvenience to other holidaymakers and extra work for our staff.

Dyeing hair and showering/washing pets in the toilet building is not allowed.

Do you unexpectedly come across a dirty toilet or shower? Let us know immediately!

Water
Camping Wedderbergen has its own water sources on site. When it is busy and/or dry, we ask guests to use water sparingly: water consumption in the summer months is high (more than guests think and more than is needed).

Tips: shower a minute (or 2) shorter, use the toilet's economy button, turn off the tap while brushing your teeth.

Please note: During the summer vacations, it is forbidden to fill your own inflatable pools or similar!

Swimming Facilities
Swimming in our swimming facilities is entirely at your own risk and responsibility. You must ensure that young children and children without swimming certificates play/swim under supervision and are provided with swimming straps or a life jacket.

FINALLY where these regulations do not provide, the management decides!
